Database Structure Changes (16th Dec 07 at 11:42pm UTC)
In order to help spread the load in terms of the number of connections accessing the same database at the same time I've been making some changes to the database structure so that different forums data is stored on different databases. At this time, not all forums have been changed to use the new system but the rest will be moved to different databases over the next couple of days.

I doubt you'll be able to notice the loading time differences since the system was pretty fast to start with; but it should prevent any future problems from occuring.

I'm 99% confident that all functionality will be retained with this upgrade but there's a small possibility that some features may need tweaking to fit the new system. As always, if you get any unexpected error messages please post about it in the bugs boards. Thanks

- Ross
