pmwww | Status setting in Mini-Profile. (14th Oct 09 at 8:48pm UTC) | | Not sure if this has been mentioned before. But would it be possible to make a status for updating what you are doing, etc. Sorta like MySpace, Facebook, etc.
Example: Posts: 123 Status: online/offline Gender:Male/Female Location: Sky Age: 123 Joined: Day/Month/Year Rep: 123 Status: Set Status here. +
(NOTE: + is for opening a text field to type in your status. Then re-pressing the + or putting a submit button underneath it to set the status.)
Of course it can be optional, and added through the Manage Templates area. and a Max of 200-300 characters or of the Forum Admin's choosing.

(14th Oct 09 at 9:34pm UTC) | | though i know where your coming from, i'm willing to bet the main argument here is "just use the additional mini-profile fields", though I will make it noted right now that the fields are limited since you can't call an individual field, you call all or none, and with it being like that it makes it hard to properly format a mini-profile, as well i'm assuming he is talking about having default options in a drop down menu, which the additional mini-profile fields do not have the ability to do.
I rest my case as for the request i'm all for it.

Edit: ok i just look at it is there saying how to do it. though the system still lacks the dropdown menu function.

and I don't mean using the Addition Profile Options either. because then the user has to go in and edit their profile in order to change their status.
I mean like It could be in a post too. where it shows the + sign or what ever in the MP, and then a field appears underneath it, you type in something then press + or what ever again, and it sets the status, and everyone can see.

If there is the extra profile field option, that is your best bet, though I do like the sound of it being an integrated feature.
