Private Conversation glitch (9th Apr 08 at 10:56pm UTC) Resolved
I was messing around with the new system and adding a bunch of people and any one with special characters in there display names doesn't show the persons username and i get an error when i try putting in there display name instead, here is a few people i know for sure that the error comes up for:

also i try to add them into a new convo and i get the same error and i dont remember what the error says exactly but i get a popup and it wont let the names to through
those are their display names. You would want their usernames... lauren, smwt & canada
The system is supposed to automatically work that out as you type them. I've not got time to investigate this at the moment but my best guess would be that it's having trouble encoding and then reading the special characters.
