I made a Discovery!!!!! (7th Apr 08 at 2:33am UTC)
Resolved - ;D
Well I found out why my members are having problems logging in, its because on Forbidden Reunion, I made it so everyone has to use .vforums.co.uk well that domain is the problem, as one of my members on Final Fantasy Nation said that he could not login using .vforums.co.uk but could whilst using .virtualforums.co.uk.

So .vforums.co.uk is not cooperating with most browser settings, or browser it self, I have no problem using .vforums.co.uk using FF2, but everyone else is having problems using .vforums.co.uk and using IE7.

But staying logged in and using different browsers is yet another mystery.

As I know nothing has changed on the login system this end since the problems started (unless the problem has existed for a while but I find that unlikely) I can only presume it's a "security update" by microsoft which is stopping the cookies being saved. I've added a note to the FAQ with some suggestions on how to bypass this and will do some more research on how to prevent it our end.

Maybe they want you to have a P3P header for privacy statement. I used one for making PHP work as third party for IE6 & 7 a while back.

Edit: this was what i used before

header('P3P: CP="NOI ADM DEV PSAi COM NAV OUR OTRo STP IND DEM"');

EDIT again:

Now obsession rules my mind
This commotion makes me blind
Searching out who ever runs
Or has stolen away my life

But i've already said

Don't ever back down
Don't ever turn around
My end has come
So now I come for you....

Well I found out that the one that logins then when she exits out of the browser it logges her off has Vista, but the weird thing is, is that she don't have Vista security on, she checked IE's Internet options, and everything appeares normal, now for the ones who can't login I don't know what OS they are using.

I will ask my member on 'Final Fantasy Nation' on what OS he uses, I beleive he uses XP.

As I see in the users last logged in 24 hours table, the members that had the problem are now able to login.

And I have a new member, that logged in just fine, not sure about the last new member, I have to contact him to see if he can login now.
