FFVII: {Forbidden}~{Reunion} (16th Feb 08 at 4:39am UTC)
This is an Experiment/Replica of my ProBoards FFVII: {Forbidden}~{Reunion} The reason why I am doing this is what I am figuring is when VForums FR is popular, and has more active members then PB FR, I will wait for the threads in PB FR to die down, and then shut down the PB FR but not deleting out PB'S FR. I don't have it completely done yet. dies Seriously though, there are a few things wrong on here that are just well things you shouldn't do with a forum. A pet hate more than anything is the way that you have an image as the background, I know everywhere has images, but it's THOSE type of images. Not the type that repeat nicely. I suggest changing or removing it. Second annoying thing is the width. I browse in resolution 1024 x 768. The page is wider than my resolution. If there are things on the screen that I can't see, chances are that I will leave. I don't like having to scroll to the right to see extra things. Yes, I am lazy, but trust me I am not the only person that thinks or feels like this. Ok, so you have side bars, ok... That's fine. But do you need them on both sides? Isn't there stuff that can be put in a thread and linked to via the side bar? Also, your forum is too wide (the boards). They are touching your sidebars in 1024 res. I suggest removing the right side bars, and remaining with the left ones. Changing the background. And also, code a custom info center. Even if it's something relatively simple. Anything that's simple will most probably work. This forum has got a lot of potential. However, you wont be making full use of it if you don't alter the template at all.

Thanks wrighty for the rate. for some reason with the right and left tables, seem to be different on here then on PB, it widens the page, and on PB it shrinks the boards and, makes it so you don't have to scroll right and left. But you see this is a replica forum of PB's Forbidden Reunion, I run in 1024x768, you don't have to scroll that much maby an inch or 2. (I don't know how to put it in Metric point of view). my forum is not wide its a 700 forum, so all skins are in 700. and I know the boards are touching the tables, its supposed to. and what do you mean by sidebars? I have regular boarder colors.

Oh ok, the tables. Have you had a look at the original forum? EDIT: I can also resize the "Affiliate Table" and it will make it not scroll.

There's too much going on. It's too dark. It takes too long to load. You really need to re-examine the way you are presenting information to your users-- it doesn't all need to be shoved down their throat every page like that... ~Artemis
