pmwww | iCodes - Updated!! (8th Jun 09 at 2:54am UTC) Has been renamed from Infinity Codes to iCodes. | | I just made a new skin, took me awhile to make it, at least 4-5 hours to get the images and the coding all right and good. http://icodes.vforums.co.uk/ Tell me what you think about the new skin! I will be changing the Forum Information around, Adding some of it to the Info Center. edit: Fixed up skin, removed right click Dwight and I have been at the skin for hours! I think it looks much better! What do you think?

pmwww | Re: iCodes (8th Jun 09 at 10:52am UTC) | | I assume it's the default one? I'll rate that one anyway Hmmm...not your best work. The banner needs a bit of work, with the rectangle you're using to add the glossy effect needs to be graduated out more as it's too obvious. The reflective text effect is nice, but that needs to be graduated out too - layer mask it and that'll sort it. The basis colour scheme is ok, though one or two more shades of black/grey would give it another dimension. I'd like to see you do more with the on/off icons too - perhaps have an image or a symbol that you can use for the forum overall? it can be used in the banner too as that'll give a sense of continuity. Also, i'd lose the right click disabler - there's ways around it and you'll find it'll just annoy users; if they disable javascript in their browser they can get the images That's my $0.02 though, as i despise those disablers. It's a good start for the skin - a bit of work to go to make it awesome but keep at it and it'll be a winner

pmwww | Re: iCodes (8th Jun 09 at 5:17pm UTC) | | Thanks. Actually the banner, I did that on purpose with Paint Shop pro 9, CS2 and CS4. CS4 was the final one I used on it, where it made it look the way it is. What do you mean graduated out more? And what do you mean another dimension? Where can I add more colors? The on/off icons are supposed to be basic, no design, no creative. made to look like a 2 year old did it! j/k but yeah, it is supposed to be a basic look. Well still, even though there are alternatives, I feel secure, don't ask me why, it's just the way I am. Like my bedroom door. I lock it when I am in there, even though if someone breaks into our house, they can just bust it down easily, but I still feel secure with it locked up. Not bad for first time designing in several months. About 8 months to be exact. I just installed PSP9, CS2 and CS4 onto my computer yesterday.
