Virtual Forums Advertising (28th Oct 08 at 8:16am UTC)
After several 5 long months of not updating it, nor even accessing it I felt like I should re-do the whole skin, as well as the boards. I don't think I have all the boards done, So if you could tell me what would be interesting to add into the boards that would be awesome! {Smile}

It is now strictly vForums, I did have other forum service advertising open, but why do that? This is vForums, so I deleted out the the other categories/boards and left vForums up.

Thanks,
Darkmage

Its supposed to be plain and simple {Wink} I don't want it to complicated, a much later on skin will be much better looking. I can fix that, that's easy to do, I just have to strip out the outline, and it will be black.

Do you have anymore for like the boards or anything?

add this code in your global headers, it will probably add some 3-D effects {Smile}

<style type="text/css">
.window1, .window2 {
border-left: #C1B4D3;
border-top: #C1B4D3;
}
</style>

Its looks ok but I don't really like the menu buttons that much. It would be much better if the names were leveled.

Don't you have to put "color" in the code? Like

<style type="text/css">
.window1, .window2 {
border-top: 1px solid
border-color: #C1B4D3;
border-left: 1px solid
border-color: #C1B4D3;
}
</style>

Don't do much coding but I think it needs something like that {Tongue Out}

Well it did it, but is there anyway to take out the white?

I like the banner area. It has a pretty professional feel for the most part. The skin is pretty neat, organization wise, but I'm not a big fan of the monochromatic theme. Especially considering you have two colors (gold, blue) in your banner that you don't use for the rest of the skin. I would recommend implementing them somewhere into the skin for continuity's sake, and because i think that gold and purple complement eachother nicely. {Tongue Out}

As for the content, I don't think its missing anything that an advertising forum should have. But it doesn't really stand out to me. This is completely optional, but i would recommend some hook board or feature to attract more members. {Smile}

7/10. I see its a new forum, so I won't comment about activity or anything.

Thanks, I will have to check that out, I did have the link gold but you could not see them {Unsure} The text on the banner has a black outline.

I can see what I can do. I do have a competition board, for "Forum of the month". I will probably add more 'Of the month boards in maybe in sub-boards.

Its not really new to be exact. Its just the first time I really worked this hard on it.

thanks for the rate {Smile}

Sure. When I meant new, i meant that there weren't many posts. And what links are gold? The links on the main page? If so then they seem like a very saturated gold.
