I'm turning British! (15th Feb 08 at 2:50am UTC)
Since being on a forum with staff from UK, quite a few members from UK, and having some relatively new friends from the UK, I've been noticing myself using some of their talk.

I keep saying things like "No worries", and "Cheers"; things I never said before talking to those from the UK.

It's the European Invasion all over again. {Tongue Out}

haha the same thing is happening to me. So bad, I am starting to spell things the way British people do. My teacher for Enlglish is always like wtf? because I spell color "colour" theater "theatre" ect. Don't know why it bothers her so much.

I wonder if any U.K. people are having the same thing happening to them that is happening to us, except with the American language.

Need a Sig?

I spell things that way because I'm a Canadian and that's how we spell it as well. {Tongue Out}

I spell center and color < like that.

Mainly cause I code with them so much, and use them like that all the time.

Anyway. Britain > Everywhere! {Tongue Out}

I use colour on the odd occasion, and theatre constantly.

Because I'm coolio and beatnik.

I sometimes phrase sentences the way British people might instead of Americans.

{Angry} I hate UK Fish.. it sucks. the batter just... Ewwww.. makes me sick.

I prefer FISH... that's not got batter on it.. some salmon, mackerel or anything other than battered cod.

Eww, I'm just the opposite. Never been a big fish lover, has to have batter on it, unless it's haddock, or cod, they're bearable.

Are you saying we're not real {Sad}

I am from US and I have always said stuff like "Cheers" And "Mate". I guess so many people in my class just decided to say it and I got into it.
