I was talking to a friend and came to a realization; my dad is a romantic. This weekend on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday he booked us a vacation at my step mom's favorite beach; her 50th birthday is on Monday. During Valentines Day he bought about 200 foil balloons and three dozen roses and took them to her work. He took them to the side of her work so she'd have to walk across the building and she wouldn't see him. And left a poem signed secret admirer, of course she knew it was my dad. haha. xD
My mom used to go to a 7 Eleven in LA. It was by her work. My dad was the store clerk. My mom was only seventeen and my dad was nineteen and going to college. There was a robbery; my dad took control of the situation and calmed my mom down as she was the only other person in the store and got her and himself out safely. Since then their relationship developed. They married when my mom was eighteen and had me when she was twenty. They were ready for a girl >_>. (Damn doctor told them they'd be having a baby girl haha).
My mom is the same way as my dad kind of. She's sweet and likes to participate in the community. She works with severely handicapped children for a living (bus driver trainer/substitute/route coordinator for special needs buses for the schools). My mom is always taking the time out to help others; and manages to make time for her own family. It wasn't easy for her as a single mother (she and my dad got divorced after ten years of marriage; as she pulled away) . My step dad was another father to me. My mom did not have an easy life with my step dad. They love each other very much but they were raising a child that needed a lot of medical attention (myself). One child that was arrested with armed robbery and several other things (little brother) and one child that gets caught smoking, girls in his room at the middle of the night or when people are gone, or dealing drugs.
Step dad is a hard worker, he likes hard labor. Does cleaning, cooking, etc. He spoils my mom to be honest; and he loves his kids. He has two of his own and two step kids; but treats us four all the same like we're his own. I called the cops on my step brother for trying to kill my step dad and he was depressed and sad the entire time; me and my mom both saw it. He was so happy the day the judge let him see his kid again. He loves his kids; and puts them in front of his wife. He is a parent that likes to know what his children are doing. He calls me every day. My brother and step brother lives with him and my mom. He calls his daughter every day as well.
Step mom works in the medical field. Radiation. She loves to relax, and loves kids. The day Jerry (her grandson) was born she was so happy like her life renewed itself. She lost her previous grandson at two months of age. She cares about her kids and tries to get involved when she cans. She loves to sit back and relax to a game of solitaire, or spending time with my dad or even reading a novel. She loves the beach; and she loves food. My dad has a fine taste in food; and so does my step mom. Great couple. xD
My mom only ever married twice, my dad and my step dad.
My dad married four times, my mom, evil step mom number one, evil step mom number two, and awesome step mom.
My mom and my dad had two kids me (20) and my brother (17).
My dad and evil step mom number one had one kid, my little brother (11).
Step dad has two kids; step brother (16) and step sister (21).
Step mom has three kids; step brother (19), step sister (19) and step sister (23 or 24)
