Alright. There are three prizes, the winner can choose from. Let's cover the prizes first, shall we? There will be at least one (1) winner, possibly more. Only one entry per person.
CPM Advertising: 30,000 impressions of your 728x90 advertisement image across the vForums network.
50,000 ad free impressions: 5 ad free credits will be applied to your forum, this gives up to 50,000 ad free impressions. (Means no ads!)
Domain added: Already own a domain? Have a vForum? Create a CName record, and you will get a domain credit for it.
Now onto the stuffs! This contest is open to anyone whom has a vForum that has more then 250 unique posts by the deadline. These posts must be outside of a game board, and must not consist of spam. You discuss and ask questions about this give-a-way in this thread. :].
The Catch! There is always a catch. =P. haha. Okay, the catch is you must write a mini essay, that is at least two paragraphs and 125 words. No longer then 250 words though. The mini essay must be on one of the following subjects:
Advertising: Why is advertising vital to a website?
Social Media and Forum Revolution: Why use social media services to promote and or keep members of a forum up to date? This includes Chi.mp, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Wiki: Why are wikis vital to some forum communities?
Minor FAQ:
Must it be a vForum? People are going to ask...if their board must be a vForum, I say, yes.
Why vForums? Because, that is this theme.
What about for the advertisement impressions? Must it be a vForum? why not InvisionFree or ProBoards, etc? This contest is only open to staff of a vForum board.
I'm a moderator of a vForum, can I enter it? Only people that are considered an administrator on the board may enter that board.
Can I create my RPG idea now and enter it? If you get 250 good posts before deadline, then yes.
Can I enter my forum now, not open yet, but will be soon? If you reach 250 posts by deadline, yes.
Will you check how many posts I have before the deadline? No. You have until the deadline to reach 250 posts.
If I win the ad impressions, do I have to advertise my vForum, or can I advertise another service or RPG? Your vForum only, at this time.
Will my game forum posts count? No. Spam posts will not be counted either.
What if my board is dead? It doesn't count. It must be active. Don't just go and make a post on the forum, it must be an active community. It can be small, or large. But with at least 100 posts made within the last 2 weeks before the deadline.
The DEADLINE: Entries must be in by 12:01 AM, -8 GMT of June 22nd, 2009. At this time your forum should have at least 250 posts.

What if my forum has over 1,000 posts, but is dead? Or what if I have 300 posts on my forum, but sorta dead, and only me posting after reviving it?
