For personal reasons I am not able to spend much time on line at the moment, and therefore keep an eye on my forum, my Admin and Moderator havn't logged in for quite a while either, I don't really want to delete the forum as would like to work on it again in hopefully the not too distant future but is there some way I can take it off line for now, I am just worried in case there is any problems or misuse during my absence even though there has been very little trouble to date.

Hello,

If you go to your admin panel and click on Forum Settings, there is an option under "Optional Features" where you can set "Maintenance Mode" to Enabled, and then only staff can access the forum. Would this be sufficient?
