Can't change title colour - Posted By honeypot (olijamuk) on 19th Oct 10 at 10:18am
Forum URL:mortimer.vforums.co.uk
Experienced By: Me
Browser:Safari
Operating System:OSX Snow Leopard
Problem:I can't see where to change the text colour of the main forum title. I don't particularly want to use an image - text is fine - but I'd like to be able to change its colour

This is why I love vForums so much! It's easy.
Go to Admin > Manage Forum Templates > Look for the default welcome table, if there is not, make a new one, and look for this line: {if:banner}<img src="{banner}" alt="{forum_name} Banner" title="{forum_name}" />{else}<h1>{forum_name}</h1>{/if} It's up at the top area.
Where it shows Bold and underlined, replace it with this: <font color="red">{forum_name}</font> where it's bold on that line, you can change it to whatever color you like it to be. If you want to use Hex to, you can.
Good luck!

Very ironic. In truth, the strength of vforums is the high quality help given by people like you, for which many thanks. It worked a treat.
