What does the "Enable Short URLs" do? - Posted By flyoffacliff (flyoffacliff) on 1st Oct 10 at 9:35pm
What does the "Enable Short URLs" option under seo settings do?

It will shorten the URLs for the boards/posts etc, making them more SEO friendly - so making them easier for the search engine robots to read and therefore help your SERP (Search Engine Ranking Position).

Oh, that seems reasonable. {Smile} I'll enable that once my server starts working. {Tongue Out} everything is running slow.

How are you hosting vforums on your server?

Not running vforums on my server, it's just pointing to it. I meant as in, all my images, etc are hosted on my server, and everything is down, so it's taking it awhile longer to load, even if I load to the vF link, it's still loads slow, as it's trying to download images that are not there. {Tongue Out}
