Hello Mark,

New skins can be added via the "Admin Panel -> Create New Skin". From there you can import a skin (we have a couple available or you can import one from elsewhere) or you can create a new skin from scratch.

Creating a skin is very much like modifying a skin - you just enter the colours and images to use.

Mark you would go to the page titled "XML Download" and view source & copy/paste.

Just to clarify, the XML code you copy would be pasted into the "Import Skin" section of your admin panel.

How do you get the ads to move as they are looking weird in the place that they are. Also I have imported this skin : http://support.virtualforums.co.uk/board/premadeskins/topic/13006/action/view_topic/slipwrblu#reply-13 how sexy does that look {Cheesy} but where is says

Mini Profile Template:
http://skins.vforums.co.uk/slip/mini-profile.phps
http://skins.vforums.co.uk/slip/guest-mini-profile.phps

Info Center Template:
http://skins.vforums.co.uk/slip/info-center.phps

What do them links do? I don't understand where I am supposed to put them :/

and also how do I change the Virtual Forum reloaded to say something else? {Smile}

Sorry Mark, been overran with work recently.

The last 3 links you want to go to "Manage Templates" and create a new template for each - or you can modify the one already there. The miniprofile ones is in two parts - one file is the member one, the other the guest. They both get added into one template! {Smile}

Use the "Forum Settings" page - there is an option to set the Ad Location {Smile}
Change that to "Above Welcome Table" {Smile}

Thanks, Michael and how do I change the Virtual Forums Message boards reloaded text?

Re: skin - Posted By Michael (wrighty) on 1st Jul 10 at 7:31pm
Try:
Code:

  1. <script>
  2. var subtitle = "Mark's Forum";
  3. </script>

At top of global header.

Re: skin - Posted By Mark (markwesley) on 13th Jul 10 at 5:07pm

Hi Mark,

I've been unable to locate that code snippet in the Global Headers for any of your skins (including "All Skins").

Where exactly did you place the code Wrighty provided? {Smile}

Re: skin - Posted By Mark (markwesley) on 13th Jul 10 at 9:09pm
What? I swear I put it there, Ahh where is the global header?

Re: skin - Posted By Michael (wrighty) on 13th Jul 10 at 9:30pm
Marc - the problem is that for some reason the inline CSS wasn't taken presidence over the .css file. So I rewrote the CSS to just be more "strict"

A lot of this site can be rewritten due to the new templating system. Perhaps I will at some point over the weekend.
