Which forum your server is on shouldn't make a difference, since they're all accessible via the same domain.

I think what he's looking for is to be able to match up the server status measures on the homepage with his forum.

If you haven't already seen it, this topic may be of interest to you:

As it states in there, "we intend to transfer a handful of the largest forums". The owners of affected forums will be notified when the time comes (even though the transfer process should come with 0% downtime). The definitive list of which forums will be transferred and when has not yet been done.
