Hi I can't insert images into my comment box, it won't let me C&P, what am I doing wrong? Do I need a code to insert omages? if so what is it

if you want it to show the image put

[img][/img]

and it should show up.

Also your image has to be on your own image host. If you do not have one take a look here.

Hot linking from someone else's image link, is very bad.

(Sorry I treat new people (does not matter if they know abotu hot linking or not) like newbies )

If you cannot right click, that means you must have a code that stops right clicking all together.

It would help greatly if you would show me the forum you are having trouble on.

Also another alternative would be CTRL + V To paste it in.

Well first go into Admin>Manage Forum Permissions>View Categories> Check all for guests Guests.

Then when you are done with that go to:
Admin>Manage Forum Permissions>View Boards> Check all for guests Guests.

Then I will be able to see them.

I see that you have allot of members, ask them if they can right click and paste.

Within the [img] tags, you need to put a link to the image itself. For example, here i've done this image: . For this, i've taken the link of the image and inserted it in the image tags:

If the image is on your computer, then try uploading it to a free image host like http://imageshack.us or http://photobucket.com

Heather, what exactly do you mean by "Comment Box" ?

Do you mean into posts, such as this? Or do you mean your headers/footers?

EDIT:

If you mean that you're trying to literally copy/paste the image itself into the box, then no that will not work.

The image must first be uploaded, and then you should enter the code given a few times in this topic into the post box. Upon actually submitting the post, the image should appear in the post.

Well I transferred my account, and I went onto your boards and I could right click just fine on both Quick Reply and Normal reply.

The error has to do with your computer, Try clearing Cache, Temp. Internet Files, etc, and see if that works. If not then most likely you will have to wait for Ross to handle it.

It's working now and cleared everything you said, do you think I was having a blonde moment
