1) I used a PB version of 'border around forum' made from smangii and its not worked, it worked on another forum i had though www.proweb.vforums.co.uk.

2) how do these head/base images work , whats with left, center, right

Id rather staff answered these questions than normal members thanks.

1) If I remember correctly I had to make quite a few alterations to it before it worked properly on that forum. I'll post something about how to do it in the coding boards a little later and post the link to it here.

2) The idea of having 3 seperate images is to enable the use of % widths. The left & right hand corners will have their set dimensions whereas the center part is designed to repeat/exapnd depending on the size of the users screen. However if you've just got one set image and don't want to use this ability then you can just enter the image URL as the left hand corner.

Okay it didn't work, and now the banner has a tiny bit of it above the image.

Also is there any diagram for places where the forum colors go?

Oops. Modified

Re: 2 questions - Posted By Ross (admin) on 8th May 08 at 7:45pm
If you wish to just use the one image then it needs to be entered as the URL for left hand side. I've changed that and it seems to be displaying OK {Smile}

System, I've posted this here in regards to the border around forum:
http://support.virtualforums.co.uk/board/codesubmit/action/view_topic/topic/18590/page/1/#post-1210276823

When you say just for boards, do you mean to have it everywhere apart from the welcome tables?

And can I ask other members not to reply. Thanks {Smile}

Code doesn't work, don't know if its a cross browser code i use IE7 and its not working. About the head image, yes i mean just for the actual boards currently its above PM table and welcome table {Smile}

<style>
.welcometable {
    display: none;
}
</style>

*hides again*

Re: 2 questions - Posted By Alex Bailey (system) on 8th May 08 at 8:39pm
Its in PM table aswell though but thanks

I'm not seeing the border code on your forum at all. But I've tried it on my test site in IE7 and Fx2 and it seemed to work OK there.

As for the code Wrighty posted, it should remove it from both welcome tables (the one with the banner & menu as well as the one with PM info)
