A few of us are having some problems with pm’s in inbox

Now I have a pm from somebody in my inbox and when I open it up its from someone else, now this pm I cannot delete, and I am showing “ 1 new message” all the time, I have opened this pm but the envelope by it stays closed as tho I have not opened it



This has happened to at least 2 other members in last 48 hours

The private messaging system is due to be replaced by a more advanced private conversations system later this week. This gives us 3 options.

Firstly, I could run a simple "Mark all as Read" on your inbox to remove this "1 new message"

Secondly, if you don't mind linking me to the individual message, I could run full diagnostics on it to trace & fix the problem. Even though it's most likely that the same bug won't exist in the new system.

Thirdly, I could run the upgrade procedure on your forum ahead of schedule. The downside of this option is that the documentation for the new system is not yet complete so it may confuse some members.
