Problem:
I changed my email 2 weeks ago, pressed the validate button 2 weeks later still haven't gotten the validation. I re pressed the validation, just 2 minutes ago, and still nothing, and I am using AOL. Now on http://freunion.vforums.co.uk I am using my AOL account, and I received a validation for Forbidden Reunion.

Sometimes it can take a little while for emails to get from our server to your inbox. So try not to constantly request new keys or send to different email addresses. Give the email at least 10-15 minutes to arrive. If it still doesn't arrive then ensure you check your junk/spam mail. If it's not there either then try sending it to an alternative address, I find gmail.com addresses usually tend to let our emails through. Another tip for ensuring you receive our emails would be to add the following addresses to your allowed list/contacts:
communication@virtualforums.co.uk
noreply@virtualforums.co.uk
notification@virtualforums.co.uk

If you've tried all this then start a new topic with a link to the forum and the username in question. We can then request a new validation key which we will track through the email system to ensure it is sent.


Could you try those things, and if that fails repost here? {Smile}

No not on here, but I'd rather keep AOL {Tongue Out} , I went from Yahoo to MSN then back to Yahoo, Now I am at AOL and yes I do have an account on Gmail for gtalk but my friend quit using gtalk so now I forgot the email and password to it. I will try it again and see if I can get it this time.

EDIT: {Tongue Out} then why does it work on Forbidden Reunion, any PM I get on FR I get an email. and I am validated on FR whilst using AOL {Tongue Out} {Cheesy}
