Why arn't posts in sub-boards not showing up on the main page now?

They do here on support, I just tested it. Could you link us to the sub-board you are trying to post in please?

it should show that there is a post in the Hidden Leaf Village board because there is a post in its sub-board Training Arena

Nothing has been changed with that for a while. However it is one of the systems which has been rewritten as part of the latest upgrade. Once that is released on your forum it should replace any bugs you're having now.
