When using the noheaders feature, it has to be added in manually on every page. I think a good idea would be for when noheaders/1/ is used, it saved a noheaders cookie, which stops headers & footers form loading without having to re-enter. As long as noheaders is functioning, it will say "NOHEADERS ACTIVE [Exit NH Mode]" below the ads, with "Exit NH Mode" being a link that clears the cookie.
I was going to suggest this, only I was going to say to use: &NOHEADERS
why &NOHEADERS? We're not proboards. So simply suggesting it because that's what proboards use is not a valid reason to have it.
Also, what difference is it if it's &NOHEADERS=1 or how it is now? [/noheaders/1/]

I would have thought it's essentially exactly the same, isn't it?
Yes, i am aware it's a rhetorical question
