Support suggestion - Posted By Jpeterson (jpeterson) on 22nd Dec 09 at 12:17am
I think it would be a good idea if on the support forum in the support board when you make a new post you have to include a forum URL so the people trying to help can go to the forum and check it out for them selfs.

There is one in the pre-defined list, but it might be an idea for it to be a required field.

Still, if they dont give their forum URL we cant diagnose the issue with it {Tongue Out}

The predefined posting template should be used! {Cool} {Grin}

I agree, pre-defined posting template can be used for this

I don't think that forum URL should be required, there are situations where you might just have a question about how x, y or z works. Not requiring a URL.

Furthermore, why force people to enter things? If it's a problem with their own forum, it takes one post to ask for the forum URL!:)

I agree, most of the time I just ask questions that the forum url ins't needed, plus some people like to keep their forums private.

That doesn't mean it can be required. {Tongue Out}

Like put something in the description about private forums or something. {Tongue Out}

No because then it's not required. It's best as it is in my opinion. For a support board people should be able to put in what they feel is required.

Yeah, I see your point.
