I think a really sexy idea would be to add another option to polls saying "Allow users to vote for an option more than once.", and then the number of times they can vote for it depends on the number of votes allowed.

Not sure of the best implementation method; a dropdown/textbox beside the checkbox might work nicely.

It could abused, but sounds like a good idea.

Perhaps then if we're suggesting!

So like a weighting? You get given X number of points which can be distributed across different options? If so I can think of one AJAX based way which this could be done even if it would be pretty difficult to do
