Instead of having to choose the skin in the Profile, have it under the Info center. Like how guests have it under the login, put it under the

This has been suggested before, and as stated in the other thread, this would be fairly pointless. Why would a member need to change skins that often?![]()

I agree and most forums would have 2 maybe 3 custom skins to choose from if a member wishes to change their default skin then let them go through the process of changing it via one's profile.
Well, you see, I make several skins, in several minutes, without looking at them, when done. So It takes even more time, and I dont get much time on the computer, One night its making the skins, and few other things, the next night is adding the skins in. School/Work has me tied down. So I thought it would be allot easier to choose the skin that you would like to see/preview.
And I was wandering why guests would need it?

Because they have no profile to change their skin in.![]()

In that case I would suggest a "Preview Skin" feature to be added in the skins area.![]()
It would actually be a very nice thing for design forums. They can make a demo board or even showcase some of their better premade skins for guests to browse through instead of the hassle of signing up just to find out you don't like the work.

The dropdown is there for guests already.![]()
Whats the big deal about it? Let Ross decided. It would be better, for many members, it would be allot easier for them as well, because if they don't like that skin, then they can quickly change it, instead of going back to the profile, modifying it, then finding out that they don't like that other skin, and if you have 4-5 skins, it would get really annoying.

The reason members can reply in the suggestions board is so that they can give their input on a suggestion. Yes, Ross gets the final decision, but input from other members helps him see if it's worth taking the time to implement.![]()
We could have a compromise and enable a code to change the users skin?
Would some one mind working on it? You know I would if I could, but I only know how to make certain codes, and Myspace Layout codes (Which is basically CSS codes put into one big giant code. ).
It'll require some server side changes to work first. I'll see what can be done.
Cool thanks Ross, your the best.![]()
It's now an option in "Forum Settings" to disable/enable it.
Cool thanks Ross ^_^
