OK I couldn't think of a good name of this that would fit. Basically i think that there should be an option on how many new members that you want to show, for example if i wanted it to show only the newest member then it would show me the newest member or if i wanted to to show the 10 newest members it would show the 10 newest members.

something like:

{newest_members:1}
{newest_members:2}

Etc... to vary the number... {Unsure}

Sounds like a reasonable idea, that. Similar to the showing of X amount of recent posts.
