An option in general settings to disable new registrations. Staff members would still be able to register new accounts though. Would be useful for private & invite only forums.

Are you suggesting this to us ?. Anyway yeah would be a good idea as if your forum isnt open you wont want people joining

It's partly a note to myself and partly an opportunity to get some feedback on the idea
