OK i just got a report about the post count of my member mario not raising. I checked the board that me and him have been posting in and the post count aint disabled.

i don't know if its all the boards but its this one for sure

and like i said it is not set for post count to be disabled,

Edit: ok i tested it in another board and it still dont go up

It's using the preference of the parent board, in this case "Hidden Leaf Village" as that board does have post counts disabled. I'll get this fixed in the next few minutes {Smile}

ok that fixed, but there is another error i just noticed...when you delete a thread your post count goes down....

That's intentional, because you're deleting a post/thread which means the person doesn't have those posts anymore.

ya well its messed up when i make a thread and it dont go up but i delete that thread and it goes down...ah new bug....the post count in the mini profile dont match up with the one in the profile..also i got my post count to start working but my friend mario whom i have been posting withs post count aint going up.

Did you delete a member group by any chance?

And are we referring to a new member or is this yourself?

no i didn't delete a member group and mario is a another member on my forum. me and him have been posting in the same thread and i get my post count to go up and his wont increase.

I've cleared your forums cache so that the mini-profile will match whatever is shown in the main profile.

As Wrighty said, the post count is designed to decrease when a post is deleted. Although I will need to put a check in so that it doesn't decrease on boards with post counts disabled.

My fellow board member "Bigmac" is having the same issue on his posts.

Actual posts 233 according to his profile, but has only showed as 187 for the last week or so now.

This seems to be a problem with the caching system for the mini-profile. Ross will get it fixed when he comes on next. {Smile}

I've not been able to find the cause of this yet but have fixed that account.

I thought it might have been something to do with the post counting toward total count etc. option on the admin and did double check/reset each board.
