The first one tripped me up for like, five minutes.

The first one I noticed just fine, however I can still see all of your information perfectly fine in the screenshot. {Tongue Out}

As for the second one, I think it should only change colour when a new PM is received. {Wink}

I don't eat a lot of carrots, so I don't know why I have good eyesight. {Tongue Out}

As for the lack of visibility on these properties, where would you suggest the ToS Agreement option should be moved to, and what do you think should be done to the PM bar links to make them more visible?

Image links are broken

Re: Invisible Links - Posted By Ross (admin) on 10th Jan 08 at 9:27am
The TOS stuff just needs to made into the same color as the rest of the text. As for the PM info, I'm not sure what color would best suit that.

Re: Invisible Links - Posted By Graham (amusedtodeath) on 10th Jan 08 at 10:11am
To me, the PM info shows up ok, but the TOS text is dodgy.

What about making the gradient a bit darker Ross, then the light text would show clearer?

Sorry, host went down for about a half hour last night.

As for position/color, if the ToS stuff was moved up into the body, not on the footer, and made black, it would show up fine, I'd think. If the links in the PM bar were made white, they'd be easily visible as well....

And the color doesn't change on new PM, for me at least.

We're males. Studies say we have a hard time telling difference of shades. {Shocked} But I agree they are a bit hard to see, but due to the forum's default theme. This forum on vForums is the only one I ran into a problem to, as well, they use the default theme. After the skin contest I'm sure this will be resolved. {Smile}

I have suggested before that the PM link changes colour when there's a new PM... perhaps chooseable by the user.

Re: Invisible Links - Posted By ashkir (ashkir) on 11th Jan 08 at 12:02am
Hmm...a yellow probably could stand out against that.

I've changed them to white for now just to make them easier to read {Smile}

Is it possible to change them per skin? As Wrighty said, the alt skin is fine, but the default skin is nigh on impossible to read {Unsure}
