When you sign up for a Vforum and the admin has e-mail validation disabled, the e-mail they get says: "To validate this e-mail address as being associated with the above account, just follow this link.", But there is no link.

The words "this link" should themselves be a link. Can you confirm that they are not click-able? Can I also enquire which email client you are using to read this e-mail? As well as which forum this occurred on.
