Okay, right now, occasionally when I load the page I get this at the bottom:
"This page was generated with 2?7 database queries and ^?&* cache files in 1!/'&num_queries seconds."
I can't take a screenshot, as I'm on a temporary computer, but I will try to when I get home.
Just lettin' ya know.
What browser are you using? O.o
Firefox 2.0, Windows Vista Basic. =3
That message is on all forums. but the ^?&* i'v never noticed.
Firefox 2.0, Windows Vista Basic. =3
Does it show every time? Or is it just completely random?
Very strange that it's doing that.
It was constant for a while, now it seems random. It's more prevalent on the main page than anywhere else.
After refreshing about 50 times, I've been unable to duplicate the error [Firefox 2.1.1, Vista Premium].
Could you possibly take a screenshot, upload it, then delete it from the computer?

It doesn't seem to happen on my computer, but on the school computers and library computers it happens (they are connected to the same network).
Looks like the template system Ross uses broke![]()

None of that is dealt with by a template, it's just pure HTML outputted directly down there![]()
Virtuoso, next time it happens, can you right click the page, select "View Source". Scroll down to near the bottom and post the part which looks like this here:
Code: HTML
- <a href="http://virtualforums.co.uk/page/signup" style="color: #3575A5">Get your own Free Remotely Hosted Message Board</a>
- <span id="footerstats"><br />This page was generated with 26 database queries and 1 cache files in 0.5813 seconds.
It's just so we can see where abouts the text is getting messed up![]()
Will do.![]()
Okay, here's what I got:
Code:
- <a href="http://virtualforums.co.uk/page/signup" style="color: #3575A5">Get your own Free Remotely Hosted Message Board</a>
- <span id="footerstats"><br />This page was generated with 3?4 database queries and ^?&* cache files in 0.5813 seconds.
The time part seems to work fine now.
Okay nevermind (and sorry for triple post.. >_>) it seems to be working fine now.

That's good to hear. As I've still got no idea what could have been causing it![]()
I think it may have something to do with the computers. They have an awkward macro system, which they use in monitoring what students do - it may have been affected by that, I'm not sure.
