Mainly looking for ideas on organisation and layout, the forum's only a day old so I'm still in the process of customising it, but i had a pretty strong idea before i made it what boards i wanted and didn't want.

I've tried not to have too many forums/sub-boards to begin with, but some thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

Wow, looking very nice.

Nice and light coloured, something that is good to see when you open a forum. Not only is it light, but it's not BRIGHT light. So that's a plus!

Now down the bare bones of me rating it:

The menu buttons look good, try using my remove ':: ' from menu code (the one that leaves a space left). That will make the menu look awesome!

Also, I suggest you get a custom image for the register button, as that is also letting down your menu.

Background, a monotone background could be fine (like it is atm) however, I think something more could be done. Perhaps throw a simple 'bar' background in?

Board Name, Last Post etc.. that row isn't needed, you can hardly see the text on it anyway, General Settings -> to remove it.

Finally go and make your skin width 800px, it's best to have it match the banner. I don't think it being wider than the banner is a good thing, after all you get all of the dark blue space around the banner...

Overall it's a very well done 'skin' however, it's simple. Very simple. There are a few things you can do to improve it. I know that it isn't fully complete yet, however I expect that you will improve it over time!

I'm still finding where things are in admin. Because of my theme I don't feel i need to go too OTT with the look, but i shall look into a subtle background. I'll consider removing the Board Name Last Post etc, though i like having the two different shades of the two title bg's. I did however specifically made the text dark from the start so it couldn't be seen, an old trick of mine
