OK Digimon Dynamics is one of my newer projects, but just haven;t had time to get it active, but I can say it is one of my better designed RP forums, so please feel free to comment on the site in any ways but please avoid pointing out that its not active, I already know this and plan on fixing it very soon. Also I know that the site would look best it I was able to move the logo into be be against the top instead of having a big gap, but I can't seem to get it done but if you think you can help me out with that you are more then willing to try

Pretty nice. Loving the soothing colors and the techish feel. Also the name is pretty creative in my opinion. Head/Base images are great concepts but I think it has a lot more potential. I have do have some suggestions below though.

1) The background doesn't match with the techish feel of the head/base images and all that.

2) Text on the banner doesn't relate to tech or digimon at all. Try a better font. Also, I think you need more digimon in your banner imo.

3) Menu buttons need work

Other than that it's a pretty nice skin.

Ok about the background I used it because it was dark and blended perfectly. I am going to make a new one, but it has to be black or a dark gray to blend will with the blue and black theme, i just ain't sure how to go about it and at the same time it needs to be seamless which isn't something i'm good at. So if you have an idea on how to go about it that would be awesome.

OK ya I can agree it doesn't fit with digimon and it ain't tech in any way,m but it blends really well and sadly by pc crashed so i lost the pdn file meaning I can't edit the font without remaking the whole images. Also I thought about adding more digimon but it just doesn't look right, it starts to look very crowded trust me i tried that and it look best as a portal.

and yues I can agree the buttons need work they weren't even made for the forum, I just dont have an idea for a design plan for them, but after my lasts development, I have an idea on what i'm looking for, look in my sig and i'll get an idea for a background, having the background of my digimon sig as my button background


Edit: ok i did a new home button to see how it looked, personally i think its worse...what do you think.

Edit 2: ok well I went through again and made new nav buttons and the new ones are so much better. Also I put up a new background image and it looks much better now.

I just want to say your registration checkmark can be unchecked and you can continue still. xD. My first glance is I like it, clean, easy on the eyes, but the blur of the digimon in the banner kind of killed the mood.

I'll write a more detailed critique soon. :]

Ya I know the checkmark doesn't have to be checked, but my JS isn't that great so i'm not sure how to get it to check if the box is check and if top it goes to the next page and if not it displays a warning. Providing it doesn't have to be done with php which, come to think of it, would be easier for me to do...

Also the digimon blur wasn't my idea in the first place, it was suggested to me by Darkmage so I went ahead and did it, just didn't realize how off it looked until I already saved over the last image...

Edit: I found the Pre-Blur Image and put it up on the site

I made a few suggestions via PM; posting as well just in case you view as a guest before checking PMs every so often.

the new banner I like, better choice not being blurred and it looks a lot better, to me. Your Advertising board change 'adds' to 'ads'. And your subboard 'affiliating' perhaps just leave it as 'affiliates'? Importan Information such as news and rules, allow guests to view.

I feel there are a large number of boards on the main page honestly for the site being small as it is right now. Extensive layout is nice, but it makes it feel more inactive to me. In suggestions perhaps allow guests to view and post? Also how does advertising exactly work if people under 20 posts cannot view? Perhaps just 20 posts just to post there a new advert?

OK so basically you think i should change "Advertising" into "Ads" and "Affiliating" into "Affiliate" right? if not I don't understand.

OK well there is a few things the people forget to address when looking at a forum, is the forums type For a public chat foirum and stuff ya getting by with a few board is ok at first, and then add more later, it work for that, but with a role play forum it doesn't work to well, it causes confusion and effects the roleplayt more then one would think. Also almost all the boards are revolving around the rp, there is just small chat section that doesn't.

Also with the 20 post count thing. I put that in place so that people can't just join, advertise and never come back. Also with the guest posting and stuff, I allow then to post in three boards and only three and thats because they need to, one this i will not do is allow guests to post in my whole forum, thats when it will bet majorly spammed with ads.

sorry if taht made me sound grumpy or anything...i'm going to have one hell of a day in school tomorrow because i took a nap and my mom didnt wake me up when i ask her to so I slept all day so now i have to be up all night in order to get to school....

Also that affiliate code you gave me you have the icodes link in it instead. =P. I fixed it to use on my site. ^^. Added!

"Adds" fixed also i'll look into the viewing thing, i didn't think about that at all.

OK i'll have to report a bug to Ross because permission "are" set to have guests ti have full view access.

Ok and I fixed the link. What happened is when I went to add iCodes affiliate I ended up editing my affiliate display code and I thought if fixed it all, but I guess I forgot the fix the URL.

I love the changes and the position of the advertisement now Dwight. ^^. This is one of the cleaner, more attractive designs on vForums (that is not a premade). Look at this:

I think your head / base are off by a few pixels to matching the board stretching.

can I get a screenshot of how you see the forum, because for me it matched perfectly. Maybe it could be the Resolution off set difference and if thats the case what Res are you using? Here soon i'm going to look into something that check to see what the user Res is and then pick a fitting image set out for each res so that there wont be any stretching needed, at least in theory it sound doable, not sure if I can though.
