playing with the glow - Posted By Tim (grievous) on 11th Mar 08 at 3:06am
WEll, mostly everyone has seen my post of me complaining because i suck at photoshop, well i'm moving slowly.
I finaly got the glow thing down, which is no big woop, look at the first pic in me sig.
Does anyone have some tips on how to make the glow better?

This should be in Discussion, bud. I can't really suggest many major tips. For one thing, your text shows up too much. It doesn't blend. You need to read up tutorials for blending text into sigs.

I agree with Virt - the text does lose a lot of it's appeal there, especially the "Graphics artist" text with is horrendously hard to read It's all a learning curve, and with practice you'll work out what effects work well and what is "too much"

Thanks Graham and Virt.

Well dont go back but I used to be like that, I put a glow on almost everything! Its good that you know how to use it but if you ever want to us glow on your text just try stroke

Imo, i would leave text out until your more advanced. I'm not a fan of glow since it looks stupid in almost everything.
