I'm a fan of Mandriva. Followed closely by Ubuntu.

As previously stated, AVG is the way to go is you don't feel like dishing out money for paid anti-virus software.

Not if you have my ISP, AT&T SBC Yahoo, we get Norton free, and it is the full version, no limitations, nothing, and it is keeping our computer safe from V's and H's. AT&T is known Nationwide, but im not sure if they are in the U.K.

I got a full, no limitation version of Norton with my computer free for three years; uninstalled it the first day. Norton is really not one of my favourites. {Unsure}

I'm going to say NAV just because you get the best protection for your computer for a small price. Also McAffe I heard was good.

I had Norton (full and such) for awhile. Hated every single minute of that program. lol

I wouldn't know; I've never used your computer. {Tongue Out}

It shouldn't make much of a difference, provided your computer has a decent amount of free space/RAM.

Ok, i will use Avg

Re: What is the best anti-virus software? - Posted By Nick (nickb) on 23rd Feb 08 at 10:34pm
I recommend AVG for Linux or Mac, Linux and Mac don't get hit as much as windows does, Norton is what my school, and allot of my friends have, they say that AVG sucks, and that McaFee sucks as well, and IMO, they do.
