I used to prefer witting in Javascript but now I do so much in PHP I find it hard to switch between the two. That's why I tend to just stick to PHP now.

PHP and Mysql by far. But I enjoy coding templates with CSS and HTML once in a while.

My favourite web development language is PHP; my favourite programming language is Turing [because it's extremely easy. {Tongue Out} ], but I tend use use VB more for programming, as it has much more functionality. {Wink}

Has anybody attempted *Editted for language* before? It's REALLY difficult. Kudos to anybody who can write Hello World off the top of their head haha.

As for favorites, I enjoyed the GUI of C#. I enjoy PHP because of how flexible it is.

This is a PG-13 forum, Virtuoso; words like that are not necessary. {Unsure}

Being a bit of a coding novice, i'm going to stick with HTML and CSS, as that's all i currently have knowledge of. {Sad}

When I did do JavaScript I loved it. It was one of the most entertaining things for me somehow I just enjoyed messing with ProBoards for hours but now I'm going to try and learn it again for vForums and make real codes.

As when comparing any two languages, each has it's advantages and disadvantages. While it may have strengths in some areas, it has weaknesses in other areas. It all just depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

Re: Favourite Coding Language - Posted By Reverse Blade (zohvi) on 5th Jan 08 at 2:08am
From what I've heard asp is faster. Haven't been learning for awhile so don't remember much.

As I said before, each language has its strengths at different things. ASP will be faster than PHP at some tasks, while PHP will be faster at others.
