A few people here know that I am a video game programmer. Recently I have been working on setting up a server for my game. I was using Ubuntu Desktop but it has a lot of crap in it that I honestly don't need or want, and can't uninstall. I have tried to install Ubuntu Server instead. I get through the install, I get LAMP installed and the database setup, but then when i have to retsart the server all I get is a blank screen and yet http://65.26.45.82/ works! But i have NO way to edit the files or anything cause I am not even getting a prompt and can't use any kind of VNC program to remote into it. So does anyone have any ideas taht can help out? Anything will help a lot, even if it means switching to a new Linux Based OS that will allow me to run programs in Mono
