Exams - Posted By Marc (cr0w) on 22nd Jan 09 at 10:05pm
Well, today was the last day of Semester One for me; exams start tomorrow.

I have an English exam tomorrow at 8:30am, and then one Monday at 12:30pm.

When do your exams begin? Which exams do you have? Are you worried?

My exams start 2 days ago. I'm more than halfway through the process and only need Spanish and Ecology to get over now. At times it can get tough though. {Unsure}

Oh, I forgot to post back in this topic.

I finished my exams last week, and was pleased to find that I had passed all of my courses. {Grin}

We get report cards around the 20th, but I'll start a new topic for that later. {Tongue Out}

Yay! Exams are annoying in my opinion. One of my favorite teacher's felt exams really did not do exactly what they are meant for as kids get way too nervous for them. =/.

Well, in my opinion exams should be "open-book". School is meant to get us ready for the real world, and in the real world if we forget how to do something we'll access our resources to figure out how; never would we guess on how to do something, send it out to the client, and hope for the best.

If they were open-book, it would truly be a representation of the real world; giving us a set amount of time to complete a task requiring many of the skills we have learned in that field of study.

My exams already past like 2 weeks ago. It wasn't too hard after a study like literally all night before the exams. >_> Also, school session was a lot shorter on the day of the exams so it wasn't too bad for me.

Actually...I like that. I agree. Some coders I spoke to said they have books with examples and snippits and if they are unsure of how to do something they google it or look it up quickly to save themselves from an error and the frustration of trying to remember what it was.
