Hmm. Trio's Hogwarts was once famous, and will be known to many. I was a super global moderator there for a while. Other boards, nothing that big. xD. I was a mod on the OvBB open source software until it disappeared. O_o. Oh...and I was once the role-playing moderator for Fantasy Aurora.
Hmm, I've been staff at a few places.
I owned a few (failed) boards, and also modded Digital Inflection, Roddy Innovations, and one or two other places.
I've Modded many forum for the past 5 years. Some of my friends, that were never known, but maybe known to a few. I now co-own a forum that I have been at for a year and a Half now. I was a normal member. The main owner gave up her position as Main Owner to a Mod that was well trusted. I then became Mod, because of my devotion/getting allot of members there. Then later I became Co-Admin, because I am on there everyday, helping the forum out. And hopefully soon I can get permission to make a portal for the forum.
The forum I am talking about is called "Forsaken Desire - a Final Fantasy VII RPG"
I've been a mod on a fair few places, most of them PB
Some names include Free To Advertise (pretty much the biggest PB ad forum, and i'm still there), Outside The Wall (still there), State Of Sound (still there too), plus a few smaller forums which i either left or they died a death.
Well I've been a mod at Roddy Innovations for a bit. I modded my friend's Supernatural forum for some time. Then I'm in my second term as a mod at Studio Zero. Here at VFS of course. I own State of Sound - o and there was my first forum: LLAMA - it was an average-sized general board. Then there was The NODE (SciFi board - soon to return on VF) and a harry potter forum. Also, I admin at ProVision (one of the few largest forums on PB).
Let's see... a while ago there was RPG forum called Harry's Hogworts (Yes, it was spelled wrong in the URL). The admin disappeared though, and I ended up taking over, but unfortunately it eventually died... And in no particular order, the boards that I have been staff on, but do not own are:

And yeah... I think that's all... barely any of them are still alive anymore. May have missed one or two but... can't think of them right now
Seppy Food, Affiliates R Us, Roots of Destiny, Wire City, Final Fantasy Prodigy, Organizing Board 101, and what seems to be about 50-100 other boards that were unsuccessful.

Oh yes. I see. The forum I am co-admin experienced that not to long ago. All the profiles in the character accepted board suddenly vanished. So everyone had to remake their profiles and yeah. Though if that ever happened on here, Ross can easily back them upwhereas (Insert forum name here) does not do backups, so no posts, threads etc can be brought back from sudden disappearances. At least 100 threads were deleted. I think it was an upgrade issue at the time, when 4.5 first came in the several 1st few months.
The only active board I am a moderator at is Roots of Destiny. I used to be a moderator at a couple of other forums before they went down, one of them my board.
Oh. XD. haha. XD. That's cool. XD. I haven't seen it happen on vF yet. ^_^
It won't ever happen on VF because of the way the system is setup. As far as I know, the issue was fixed quite a while ago on Proboards, as well.

Total Transformers (Admin), Temporal Reality (Admin, taken over from previous owner), Top Gear: Unofficial (Admin, fails.), Wonders Of Wildlife (Admin), Soap Wars (Admin), The Prime Directive/ The Last Outpost (Admin.)
Those are the ones most recent or longest lasting, the others aren't worth mentioning. As you can see, I've mainly run my own message boards and haven't really modded at any others.
