Over-The-Top Movies - Posted By Marc (cr0w) on 7th Jan 09 at 4:12am
Lately I've seen a lot of movies that just go way over the top. The other day, I watched a movie where an SUV drove into a wall and exploded. Right now there's a movie on, in which a tire was shot out while the car was going no more than 40km/h, and the car flipped into the air over a giant stack of garbage.
Are good plots so hard to write that they need to add stupid, highly unlikely reactions to simple events in movies?
Which movies have you seen lately that had ridiculous explosions or crashes that would never really have occurred if the situation actually happened?

marc they are movies for a reason - they are supposed to show things that don't happen in real life.
