Well, first I'd check the money to make sure it isn't a scam, or they accidentally sent it, and after that, I would put it in the bank for 6 months and not touch it.

Well, I would send it off to Living Stones Orphanage; it's owned by a close friend of mine's parents.

$1000, that's it!? CHEAP!

I would go spend it on a macbook. XD

I'd put it in the bank, which would fill up the hole the TV and 360 made.

I'll be getting an inheritance soon, so this is pretty relevent

If it were a thousand dollars, i think i'd firstly get myself a new laptop (undecided over Windoze or a mac), then i'd probably split the rest between my savings, my parents and myself

With $1000 I would most likely spend that on a better computer and monitor. Something that would make designing much easier than what I have now. The rest I would spend on SF comics and video games. That's about it really, I don't think there is something else that I really want.

Probably get some work done to my truck.

It seems most is for the computers. Watch we all magically get 1000 bucks and all buy brandnew laptops or computers than an announcement is made: "NEW LINE!" or "RECALL! OUR LAPTOPS EXPLODE!"
