Are you planning on ever setting up your drumset again? {Tongue Out}

Favourite video game has to be Zelda: Ocarina Of Time for the N64. Even now i still play it and it blows my mind the level of detail to the quests - to get 100% is a massive challenge due to the scope of the worlds and the dungeons.
I've got a Wii with some games and a PS2, but neither of them have had a game with such longevity.

Favourite cuisine is most probably fajitas {Grin} When me and the missus cook them it's not fancy but my word, it's tasty {Grin} I'm also a big fan of pasta and fish dishes {Cheesy}

Favorite proboard skin?

Hmm...of all time? That's a hard one. I think my current favourite is Smangii's skin for SI - it's given me a lot of influence in my own work and i'm a massive fan of Smangii's skills. If only i were as talented {Sad}

Heheh, i knew you'd bring it up {Tongue Out} I don't think anytime soon which is annoying, as there's just not the room. However, my best mate and i are considering going halfsies on an electronic kit and that'll probably be stored at my place so while it's not ideal, it's decent enough {Grin}

You'll have to poke Slip about that, it's up to him when they close {Tongue Out}

What's your favorite design style?

I think the ones i find myself drawn to the most are abstract and vector. When i design (i'm not very prolific, or good {Tongue Out} ) i tend to wander down those roads {Smile}

How old were you when you discovered and interest in music, and what genres/styles do you enjoy most?

Oooh, good question.

I think i began properly "listening" to music when i was about 16, when i was introduced to Pink Floyd's The Wall by a close friend - it opened up my eyes to a world where it wasn't the same sappy, three-minute pop song and where there was an abundance of beautiful melodies, creative lyrics and supreme musicianship. I then opened up a music catalogue my mum occasionally got, and i then ordered 4 albums on a whim to see what they were like. When i got to college i had a variety of friends who got me into various types of music, and my girlfriend also got me into most of the music i listen to now - the rest is me being curious and just buying it because i like the name, or i like the album art etc {Tongue Out}

As for what i listen to now, it'd mainly be classed as "indie/alternative" - bands such as Biffy Clyro, Elliott Smith, The Decemberists, Brand New et al feature highly in my iTunes (my last.fm account is linked in my sig for a better rundown {Tongue Out} . To be fair, i'll listen to anything though - stuff i have ranges from Jazz and classical to Black metal, with some electronica/hip-hop thrown in. Diversity is good {Smile}

What is your favorite part about being staff?

Re: Q&A #2: Graham - Posted By Sven (sven) on 18th Aug 08 at 7:10am
If you had to pick between these 2 options what would it be?

1: A very long death, like years of death, but it being relatively not painful because of regular Morphine injections, or because you have Motor Neurone and can't feel the pain of your body shutting down (a mini choice in that one lol).

OR

2. A relatively quick death. Lasting 5 minutes - 30 minuntes, however, it's very violent and painful. A shooting but missing a vital organ and bleeding to death for instance {Tongue Out}

It does sound really cheesy, but it's a great feeling to be able to help people. Also, being able to be a part of something that is truely great - some of the ideas that have been implemented, and ones that are being discussed are really exciting. When "on the boards", i don't see myself as a staff member unless i need to - everyone's equal and all tied by the same rules.

Hmmm...a tough one. I think i'd possibly go for the "long and painless" as i think it would still give me some time to try and accomplish what i want to do and see. But then the knowing that death would be imminent would be a massive downer, so in another way, the quick and painful might work...I'll go with the "long and unpainful".

Damn you and your difficult questions {Tongue Out}

I have a question relating to your previous response...

Where are you getting this "staff have rules" garbage from? {Tongue Out}

*Serious Question*

How have your goals for your future changed over the past 5 years?

1, I try to keep you on a leash, but then i forget you could probably change the DBs to stop me meddling with you {Tongue Out}

2, They have changed a lot in 5 years. In 2003 i was due to go to university to study Journalism...unfortunately finances meant i couldn't take my place {Sad} It hit me like a rock that i couldn't go, as my girlfriend and i were planning on being at Uni's near to each other.
So, i decided to switch to doing a Law degree and then got an interest in graphic/web design. I'd still like to do some journalism but it's going to be hard without going to university so i'm seeing what my options are and where life takes me now.

Nice answers.

If you did not find vForums, what would you be doing now?

Erm...probably similar to what i am doing now, to be fair - still cracking on with the degree, doing some freelance work on the side, etc. vForums has given me another way to procrastinate while not doing my essays, so i thank Ross for that {Grin}

The longest relationship i've been in is my current one - funnily, it's all the threes today! 3 years, 3 months and 3 days {Smile}

Favourite colour lightsabre....do the different colours mean different things? I'm going for blue on this {Cheesy}

There's a few things i'd like to do:

Form a band and at least be up to a "gigging" standard
See all the bands i adore at least once live
Do a skydive
Travel the world

I know that's 4, but it's hard to pinpoint it to just one {Embarassed}

Definitely more of a designer. I've tried to get to grips with the coding side of things but i'm not that hot {Sad}
