Making up with a friend. - Posted By ashkir (ashkir) on 9th Aug 08 at 10:05am
I kind of made a friend mad by having a bad reaction to an obsession I have, kind of the only thing I'm selfish about. How hard is it to make up with a female friend on that issue?
Before anyone asks, no I did not hit her. xD. I don't resort to violence.

Sometimes it's difficult, but if she is that good a friend to you then she'll understand you. Just take her to one side and say "look, i know i reacted badly to [insert badness here] but it is something that i have a problem with. I'm sorry i lashed out and i'll try and control it from now on".
Or something along those lines, i've not long woken up

Thanks Graham. I'm trying to figure out what to say. I been up all night thinking about it. It's eating me away. =/

I'd try not to worry about it too much. Like i said, if she's a real friend she'll understand that it was a temporary loss of temper, and not something major like a betrayal or owt
You'll be fine mate, just explain and you'll both be fine

Females hold grudges for years though... My girlfriend is a perfect example of that. In year 7 someone told her she had breast implants, shes in year 11 now and still hates her for it.
Could be a difficult one, though, as Graham said, if she's a true mate, she'll be cool with it. Friends never fall away forever.

She responded to me now. She said she'll wait until she feels I really mean it and wants to see my trying. Then she'll give thought to it.
