not up yet like but does anyone know on godaddy where it says it will be active ?
When it's active for you will depend on your ISP. The settings (such as the IP to point it to) can take up to 24 hours to be picked up by your ISPs DNS servers, although most will do it much sooner.
The domain is "active" (pointing to a godaddy holding page) for me but the same cannot be said for everyone.
Just to add, the internet is actually quite a big mess. Everything gets around the world through peripheral modems and routers each looking for the "shortest route" to an address, so takes different lengths of times for different places to get it.
A good example of this was when Youtube went down for about a day not too long ago...I believe it was India that wanted to block the site, so what the government did was "trick" modems into thinking that there was a "faster" route to get to Youtube, when it was actually a fake address. However, other modems outside of India picked up on this "faster" way to get to the site, and so did their peripherals, and so did theirs, and so on and so forth. Within hours half the world was redirecting to this fake address, thinking it was Youtube.
Erm..yeah. *Forgets where he was going with this*

He simply means that your site is viewable by him (which is understandable, since you live in the same country), but may not yet be viewable for those in say, Russia.![]()
Your site is active for me, as well, though.![]()

It probably won't be yet, if he'd only just registered it. In another 24 hours or so it should be good, methinks
it came up with a domain before, its not no more
One of two things...
1) The nameservers are just taking time to change; nothing to worry about.
2) You entered invalid nameservers; double check them, and if they're correct, then see #1.![]()

Unfortunately things don't always work like that. A few months ago the nameservers for a site changed within a few hours for the office next door to us. Whereas it took our office nearly the full 24 hours before we started to get the new site. It can all depend on your individual ISP.
When its currently changing,is it meant to show up like that?
www.baileysdesigns.info
