Website Name - Posted By Marc (cr0w) on 2nd Jun 08 at 10:10pm
Alright, so my domain for the past two years or so just expired [Cr0w Online], and after considering renewing it, I decided against it. It was hosted with a horrible registrar for a horrible price, had old contact information, and had a 0 in it. {Tongue Out}

So, I think it's time for a change. So I'm looking for your ideas; what would be a good new name for my site? What should the URL be? I may have a small prize for whoever suggests the winning name/URL. {Wink}

EDIT: For those of you who don't know what the site is about, it's pretty much a site promoting my web design, with free resources, free/paid services, a custom-built forum, etc. Get thinking! {Tongue Out}

What is with you and hyphens? {Tongue Out}

I wouldn't mind having the word "Innovations" in there somewhere, but if anyone has any ideas that don't include that I'm all ears. {Wink} [Well, eyes. {Lips Sealed} ]

Hows about Marc Designs?

Thats all I can think of, If I think of more, I will post them.

I based my Design forum off of my name, which is what you did the Cr0w Online.

As if you did not already know my Design forum is called Mage Designs, { Darkmage }.

How bout use your first name as the domain. Brand yourself. The domain name is the easiest thing to get, but the design and layout of your site is the most important part you need to create. It'll leave a impression with the visitor's. I don't remember domain names that much but i remember the titles of the site's i visit. Then i go to the search engine and type in the title to get the URL. lol

Also, try to keep the domain name short and easy to remember. Long domains makes it tuff for the slow typers to type it in the address bar.

What about MarcsInnovations

It's too plain. {Tongue Out}

Also, Cr0w Online is a registered business [paid for the licence in full], and I'm hoping to switch over this new name. As this will be a company, I'd rather not have a "personal" name. {Wink}

Re: Website Name - Posted By Marc (cr0w) on 6th Jun 08 at 3:21am
I like the idea of combining the two words. {Smile}

However, the use of my first name in it makes it a bit too informal and personal. But the ____ovations idea is pretty hawt. {Wink}
