Bloody Mary!? - Posted By Nick (nickb) on 27th Apr 08 at 8:09am
Who has herd the story, I read many stories about it, but which is the truth?

Now I am in my room, If I turn off my T.V. and Computer, and say "Bloody Mary" 13 to 100 times, Will she show up?

Im going to try it when I have a friend over, or if I am at a friends house. If nothing happens I wont believe it, if something does happen, You bet I will believe it.

Oh man. Isn't this classic? My sister told me this story when I was like seven? She said I had to repeat it in the bathroom, no lights on, and holding a candle in my left hand, one thousand times.

The next day my brother saved me from drowing in the pool. >_> <_< note to self, if you cannot swim, diving board = not good idea.

I thought it was standing infront of a mirror saying: "I don't believe in the boogeyman" 3 times. While tapping one finger on your nose, and eating a carrot with the other....

Or was that another made up thing? {Unsure}

I don't think it's true dude! {Smile}

Ahhh, yes. The good old days in 3rd grade when 5-6 people would leave class just to do this. Yet, never happened.

It's just a myth, and that's all it will ever be. Unless their is a government file or something along the lines of that says something along the lines of the story, I wont believe it. I do believe in ghosts, and what not, but this just isn't one of them.

Back in Grade 8, me and a friend were staying at his house for the night, and at about midnight we went into his bathroom. We turned off the light, and he said it into the mirror. Nothing happened for a second, until we heard a loud bang against the wall. We scrambled for the door and upon making it out my friend had a tear in his shirt that looked like fingernails and his shoulder was cut up as well. {Unsure}

Personally I can't even take a shower anymore without being scared half to death. My friends laugh at me for it, but unless if you experience something firsthand you can't understand the fear. {Unsure}

Tried it when I was young... and nothing.

This also just made me remember the South Park episode were they did the Biggie Smalls thing.

Personally I think that when anything happens it's either set up, or it's your imagination. Like with what happened to Dark Mage, you wanted something to happen and you imagined that, you thought it was really happening so you had trouble pulling the door open.

For Marc, could of been your friend pulling your leg the whole time. Maybe in the dark he ripped his shirt, and hit the wall as well.

This is true. Nothing like that can happen. Scientists would've been all over this and found proof it actually happens. Since they didnt, it's obviously fake.

There's more in this world then science. I'd believe it if this turned out to be real, it's just that there is no real sound proof that it works. It's turned up no results for me, and it's a pretty stupid concept anyways.

Re: Bloody Mary!? - Posted By Entold (silentassassin) on 27th Apr 08 at 5:24pm
Yes, and i wouldnt see how this could actually work. Why do you need to say it in a mirror? Why do you need to say blood mary about 5 times before she "comes"? Theres no actual proof.

Re: Bloody Mary!? - Posted By Marc (cr0w) on 27th Apr 08 at 5:55pm
If our world were based solely on proof, there'd be no such thing as faith. My friend was paler than I'd ever seen him and neither of us slept that night. You can say that it was my imagination, or my friend screwing around, but I was there, and I know that it was neither.

Also, Scientists don't know everything. We've been alive for billions of years according to them, yet we've only had electricity for what, 200 years? Just because something doesn't make sense doesn't mean it's not real.

My friend has a spirit, An evil one, They call it "HIM" He is the devil, and he makes things happen to you. So I do believe in Bloody Mary. And No My door is easy to open, just pull on the handle and it opens. Now for "HIM" I playing with his name like "hiM", and he attacked me, I got really cold, (His basement is very warm, I was hot til I messed with his name.) Then he made my legs and arms numb, I passed out, all I remember is Blood every were, and a really deep voice laughing, it also whispered something. Though I can't remember.

I was out for 3 hours, my friends did not know what to do, they said I was really red in the face and sweating allot, so they had put ice on me. After that I woke up screaming. I could not go to sleep for 2 days because of it. I was dead tired at school.

You may believe me and you may not. You have to experience it to understand.

Entirely different from what I'm trying to say {Tongue Out} I'd believe it if an occurrence like that happened. I believe there are spirits that do haunt the earth still. I just don't believe there is one spirit that haunts anyone who says it's name in the dark, I also don't think it could transport or be in multiple places like that.

I've heard the name. My cousin was saying it, and nearly scared the crap out of my brother. We actually thought she was present.

Or my cousin did, anyway.
