What are your opinions, views etc on it? Is it a good thing giving us the chance to cure diseases, or are we "playing God" with it?

I'm a Christian, as I'm sure most of you know, but personally I think Stem Cell Research is a great idea. It helps us get closer to curing serious illnesses & diseases, as well as further understanding how we work.

I disagree with the fetal, embryotic stem cells, but I saw something on TV last night that said they found them in the nose, and since it's coming from your body theres no worry of spreading disease or the cells being rejected. Overall I think it's great.

i agree on it, i know its wrong where they get the cells from but in the end they are doing the world a favor

how are they doing wrong? its either pluripotent stem cells taken from an embryo or those taken from the bone marrow primarily. stem cells are a great way for solving hundreds of medical problems and curing many many incurable diseases and conditions. they're A-OK all the way imo. More power to stem cell researchers.
