Huge winter storm coming in tonight; hopefully a snow day tomorrow.

Just wondering if you're being affected by this or another storm, and what it's bringing with it?

We havnt had a snow storm in a long while, the last time was last Thursday, now its getting into the 40's ^_^

It was 10 degrees yesterday [40F ], but I suppose Old Man Winter want to have one more fight before he leaves.

We havn't had a bad snow storm in a while, but it mite change.

I guess we will be having a snow shower tomorrow and tomorrow night

Its been awhile since Florida has had snow Thats the only thing I miss from living in Michigan. Snow days happened almost every year, but hurricane days have seemed to stop since global warming started.

OMG wish england had snow days :S
It doens't get no stuff like that.

Which always seems weird to me You guys are so far north but something like a channel or what ever it is I can't remember at the moment changes your weather completely.

Nooo, it's only a warning is 15+ cm are expected, but there's only 10 expected now so the warning's gone.

I hope it's still a snow day, though!

Well, you guys have to make it up at the end of the year anyways.

My school is on a year-round schedule, so we don't get a real long summer vacation, but the good thing though is that we go to school for 2 months, then have 2 weeks off.

My school is on a year-round schedule, so we don't get a real long summer vacation, but the good thing though is that we go to school for 2 months, then have 2 weeks off.

I've done year round before. It's not that bad, the 2 weeks off are nice. It just sucks when your friends get stuck on a different schedule of breaks than you.

I wouldn't know anything about that considering I really don't have any RL friends. I'm a very anti-social person except for when i'm on the computer, I feel like i'm home when i'm on.

Its just a day that is writen off .

Snow day for us here in Kingston. Is the TDSB keeping schools open in Toronto?

WRDSB has all buses cancelled today, so that means I'm at home. School's still open, but there's only about 3 people per class on days when there are no buses, so they may as well close the schools.

I see. My brother goes to Waterloo Uni, I wonder how he's faring.

Lol, we're always being affected here in Wisconsin.

With being so close to Canada, we tend to get their type of weather. It really sucks actually. I mean, I guess if we're going to get snow, at least make it big so we get a snow day.

At this point, I just want spring to come.

actually we close automatically when WRDSB closes all their schools. So we were closed on February 1st.

We get a fair amount here, but not as much as I'd like.

It tends to be my favorite weather too. I just love the depressing feelings it gives me because I think more and more brain juices flow when I'm in a depressed mood. When it rains it's also the perfect balance of light and dark, and being in Florida it can get blindingly light on a summer day so I tend to like the amount of light that is out on a rainy day.
