Do you go invisible? why do you/don't you?

I'm invisible 24-7 just to escape pple knowing i'm here, i'm just the type that likes to remain hidden, i'm invisible on all sites i'm on, except for my own sites.

I'm pretty much always visible. Being staff here means i have a duty to let people know i'm contactable with any problems.

I go invisible sometimes to sneak into clubs. {Cool}

Oh, you meant here...erm, pretty much never. {Tongue Out} I don't see much reason to.

Sometimes I do. Varies though.

I haven't been invisible here on vFS ever. But I have on wR a couple of times.

I can understand for admins of very large forums who get bombarded with hundreds of PM's every time they're seen online, but not regular members or lower-level staff. {Unsure}

Yeah I get that to, but an admin should be visibile at all times if they need his or her help. I really dont get it XD

No i don't use it, my reason is the same as Marc and Parker's .

I never understood the reasoning to it. If your an admin you probably should use it because the private messages are important. It's letting your forum down if you do it when your staff in my opinion.

I could see it useful for like randomly throwing in an update that was meant to be hidden and not known when it was going up but thats it.

i dont like to go on invisible because say i have a problem with my board. I posted a thread in the support board. A staff member sees the thread they might just think i'm offline and leave thats what happened to me on proboards one time lol

I'm almost never hidden. I never really had any reason to be. {Tongue Out}

Although that can change just like that.
