Can i get a code that restricts members from a boards by then age they have set when they register or in there profile, and then if that can be done can i as well get a code that will prevent them from changing there set age after it has been set, and once it gets set while registering can it go off of that being used when it is set?
sorry i'm setting up age restricted chat boards for mature content and i dont want people to just change there age to access them.
Ages can only be changed by the main admin.
As for a code for age restricted boards, this could easily be cancelled out by using the /noheaders/1 URL. Personally, I think it would be better to create a separate member group for those over the age you want, and add them to the group as they become old enough.

The admin can see everyone's age, so it wouldn't be an invasion of privacy in that case. I'm just not sure what Ross' rule is on automatic private messages being sent.

Checking the users ages and sending the PM wouldn't be possible with the current setup. My best advice would be to either use the "Search Members" feature to find those members who are old enough once per week/month or to just check each members age when it shows as their birthday in the info center.
ok well i dont have the info center i build designed to tell birthdays...so i guess well i'll have to check there are when they register or something
there's a search option to search by date of birth.
