When you were learning to code who were your main inspirations?

When I was learning HTML, it was my old friend James; he had a really cool site and I wanted to make one similar.

For JS, it was probably Ross. There were a few others, but Ross was the most active on PBS of the coders, so his codes just stuck with me more.

For PHP, it was definitely GAMEchief. He taught me a lot when I was first starting out, and dealt with my constant n00b questions.

For VB, it was myself. I had learned quite a bit on my own, and then when I started learning it in class everyone else sucked at it, so I didn't really have anyone to look up to on that subject.

Did you copy-paste that? This topic feels eerily familiar.

But anyway, when I was learning JavaScript I had a tutor named Beowulf. Really mean person. Really mean. But we somehow stayed friends sorta. Weird relation it was there.
For PHP, it was a dude named Jamslam who invented wtcBB. We got along even worse.

Hmm... that's about it. I've taught a lot of people stuff, though.

I just wanted to learn, didn't have any inspiration.

Crazy_J was my main inspiration. Peter, not so much considering he was far beyond me. Ross I was envious of for some reason or another. It was odd, because I actually went around to challenging CJ eventually.
